Magpie Swooping Season

Springtime is here.
With the change of the season comes the increase of injuries caused by swooping birds, especially magpies, as we enter their breeding season. The main reason birds will swoop is to try to protect their nests from anything they might see a threat to them or their young, whether it is humans or other animals. They usually only swoop as a method of scaring away any potential predators, and it is rare that they will actually attack a human.
The information in the link below tells you what is the best method for prevention of injury, and what can be done at this time of year when the swooping is most prevalent.
